Greater Trinidad Chamber of Commerce
The Client: The Greater Trinidad Chamber Of Commerce had a mission to enhance the economic and social well-being of the people of the Greater Trinidad area by promoting the businesses of the area, its geographical character, its culture, its environment and its heritage, and by encouraging cooperation and partnerships between business and the community. As a volunteer-run organization in a small community, they needed an effective marketing strategy to support the local economy, attract visitors to their tourist-centered businesses and administrative support to run the organization.
The Results: Illuminated Marketing partnered with the chamber for a few years, helping to modernize elements of their marketing approach. In the time of our partnership, we helped establish a stronger social media presence, building a large following on Facebook and Instagram. Using our social media pages, we then promoted local businesses, events, beaches and parks to our audiences. This helped bring people/commerce into Trinidad during our off-season months and even attracted people to come during our high tourist season as well. Using email marketing, we also kept the chamber members up to date on all things happening in Trinidad. Our biggest project was creating a new tourist-centered website to attract business to our chamber members. After redesigning and reimagining what the chamber’s website could look like, Illuminated Marketing created content and gathered media to represent Trinidad’s businesses and showcase exactly what they have to offer.
