Eureka Families Initiative

The Client: One of Mayor Susan Seaman’s priorities as leader of the City of Eureka was to create a strategic plan that empowered families with young children to thrive and get the support they needed.

The Results: We partnered closely with Mayor Seaman throughout the process of developing a strategic plan. Through interviews with department heads and early childhood experts, community surveys, and research, we developed a plan with seven focus areas. We organized each focus area into actionable next steps and projects that our broader community could understand and engage with, and designed a highly engaging document outlining the plan. This was presented to the city council and adopted into the city’s larger strategic plan.
